Wow, berserkers are FAST!!! They seem to be able to get across the board quick enough to charge the backline.

Legionary not as much. They really got whittled down by shooting. Didn't use cover or fodder, wanted to see how the shields n armor held up... Not so tuff

With a 70% missile block chance, Legionari are not supposed to be whittled down by shooting as you say ;)

At least, not by normal shooting in point equivalence.

I guess some Minores chanting Divine Carol could help them be even more impervious to shooting, but that would be against the fluff I guess :o

I made level 1 musters for everything. Arbs, ymps and bowmen all where able to thin them to near uselessness, but....

To be fair, I did hang them out to dry, meaning, No cover and No screening.

I wanted to check how effective they are inately ( without support or tactical manuevering)

I'm sure the stat says missile block is 70%, but thats not what happened in game.

The berserkers on th other hand, they are so fast, even if you take a mis-step with them, you will likely activate fast enough to live through it.

And again.... This is all level 1. Will test again at lvl 5.
