Myrddin is the original Merlin from Welsh legends. I won't begin to guess what Bastion has in store for him, but I am dying to find out.

Well, I'm not the story writer, but AFAIK, Myrrdin is one of the main historical men who have influenced the legendary archetype of Merlin.

Edit: Got beaten to it! Got lost reading that wikipedia link for too long :lol:

dang... got beat to it also... this is what happens when I only check the board once or twice a day.

Anyway...

Resident Arthurian expert chime in:
Yeah, Nes. Myrddin is Merlin, or at least where the Merlin myth was built from. It is accepted that before the Merlin was taken from the Briton peoples and changed to suit England as a whole, Myrddin is more or less what he would have been in their original oral tales.
