Hi I have 2 boxes of Nephilim for my daemon army. The 1st box I have put together normally but would like the 2nd unit to look deferent.
So I though I would ask if anyone else had done any conversion of them and what other parts they used.
I have been thinking about getting some bits from chaos knight’s and maybe some normal knight’s. What do people think?

If you are talking about warhammer chaos knights, the scale would be way to off. I would suggest looking for some true 28ml or 32ml true scale maces and war hammers on-line, or in your local hobby store.

I've done this. Don't know if it helps.

This post could help too.

nice work on the conversions ghost

I have used a few chaos Knights parts for my dark Army, but the Lord of the rings line is completely the right scale and there is lots of parts to choose from to make them look really cool and scary that would be my suggestion that you look through the Lord of the rings line and see what inspires you

I have been looking at warhammer chaos knights because you can buy the bits separately online so it makes it a easy place to start.

Ghost they are the photos that I was looking for, that had given me the idea in the 1st place. Thay do look good. It is the Luciferi that I am wanting to make.

Yosefbender thanks for that idea I can get individual parts from that line too. I was thinking that the Eastlings may be a good place to start.

By the way I have just done a size comparison between Nephilim and the bits of chaos knights that I have and the Nephilim are bigger!

 test number 1 is almost complete and is going to work out at about a head shorter than an original Nephilim. Once the glue has set I will post photos.

Looks good! ;)
Those are empire Greatswords legs, right?
Maybe fill the space between the legs to hide the codpiece and make it a short surcoat.

Can you post a picture of him next to a mangonel crewman?

Thanks for the scale shot. ;)

I liked the empire legs more.. these chaos legs look a lot fatter, and the feet are huge.

Humm I though the Empire legs looked to small with the rest of the body.
There are leg plates on them they are just not very well defined.
But yes they are big feet!

What do other people think?
